Hey MANNfans! Happy 2010! I hope that this will become the first of many years of the MANNfan, and in order to get the ball rolling, I’m thrilled to announce MANNville’s first contest! Nothing fancy, just your run of the mill name out of the hat contest, with a few conditions:
1. You must be a member of MANNville.
2. You must be an ACTIVE member of MANNville. This means that you must have at least 10 posts (and yes, I will be checking). Also, I’m not asking you to write the War and Peace of posts, but I want these to be active, engaged posts, not stuff like “no way!” “wow” or “really?”. I’m not trying to be harsh, but the goal of this contest is to get the boards going, so this is a necessary measure.
3. Once you have at least 10 valid posts, send your name, your e-mail, and your MANNville username to mannvilleforum@gmail.com by Wednesday, February 24 Sunday, February 28, at 10 PM EST.
The prizes will be:
1st place: a signed photo and CD from Chris.
2nd place: a Chris Mann t-shirt
3rd place: three free Chris Mann iTunes downloads
I will draw the three winners out of a hat either that night or the next few days, whenever I get the chance (I’m a student so this will depend on my class/exam schedule around that time, but I’ll try to be quick). In order to ensure fairness, I will video myself drawing the names and post it on the boards with the winning announcement. I will contact the winners via e-mail about how to deliver their prizes and post the results on the board.
There will be other contests in the future, so if you don’t get it this time, don’t worry! And my main goal with this contest is to spread awareness of MANNville and to get people talking more on the boards! So, go start a topic, respond to one that’s already there, and tell all your friends! Good luck!

So, at the mention of 'contest', I definetly just spazzed and hit my hand on my desk. Something tells me my roommate thinks I'm crazy...well, crazier than usual. I'm quite excited for this. Also, where do you get Mann shirts? Because I would love to buy millions of them.

Right now I think the only t-shirts are what Chris has left over from his tour with Idina Menzel. If I hear about any new production in the future I'll be sure to let you know. After I buy a lot for myself .

I'm not big on posting but I have certainly been spreading the Mann music!!!

Okay guys, sorry for the delay. I've decided to forgo the video part of the deal since it's 9:15 AM and I'm a student. Students, you know what this does for the appearance . But I promise, I'm trustworthy. What I did is write the 4 entrants' names on slips of paper, put them in a coffee mug, close my eyes, and draw them out. So....*drumroll please*....
